Another fortunate-weather day for ten sea kayakers: Chris , Paul D, Paul G, Laurie, LoAnne, Jane, Bruce, Charlie, Bob, and Shirley. The day was overcast, rain free, with only a modest breeze from the south. We explored 12 miles of beautiful water-front homes and practiced dodging dock pilings. The north sand spit of Cutts Island was occupied by about 50 harbor seals upon our approach. We ate lunch in a sheltered curve of the island, windward (thankfully) of where the seals had been.
Thank you Shirley for sharing your trademark zucchini bread, and Charlie for your home-made cinnamon rolls.
