If you are unfamiliar with posting to the gallery, you can use this section to practice creating albums and posting images. Don't worry if you make a mistake, albums and images can easily be deleted. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send an email to pwcadmin@pwckitsap.org and I will try to help you the best I can.
You may want to print these instructions so you can follow along.
To get started, assuming you are logged on, click on the arrow on the left hand side of the screen. A box should pop out. This is where most of the controls are. Click on add album. A new page will load and you will see some fields that need to be filled in. All you need to worry about are the first two fields, the others are optional. The first one titled NAME is what the album will be named on the server. No one will see this name, it is only necessary so the computer the gallery resides on knows where the images are stored. The next field is called TITLE. This is what your folder will be named when you see it on the gallery page. After filling in these two fields, click create. A new page should now load and near the top it should say album created successfully. You can ignore the settings on this page, look to the left hand side and click ADD ITEMS. You can now click the browse box and add each image individually or you can click the UPLOAD APPLET tab. I highly recommend using the upload applet as opposed to adding images individually, the applet is much faster. The first time you use the upload applet you will have to give the applet permission to run. You also should be aware that you will need Java installed on your system for this to work. Once the upload applet loads, you can either click the add pictures button or you can simply drag and drop your images on to the applet. Once this is done click upload and you are all finished. You can now go in and name your images if you like or play around with the other settings. The hard part is done and your images should now be on-line. When you are done testing things out, you can use the controls on the left of the screen to delete the album and images if you like, or leave it and I can clean it up at a later point. You've done it, this is all there is to adding images to the Gallery. Have fun, the rest of the PWC members will appreciate and enjoy the effort you have made to post your club pictures, thanks!
