1. Emily has changed her Wonderland Trail
hike from August 8,9,10 to August 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Her plans to stay at White River and secure a Saturday night spot on the
Wonderland Trail are the same. If interested call Emily at (206) 842-7833.

Trying again to see if there is enough interest for a Whitefish Mountain Ski Trip. We need a
"critical mass" of eight to make this a go - space is limited to a maximum
of twenty. Four days of skiing at Whitefish
Mountain Resort (formerly Big Mountain
Resort), three nights in loft suites at the luxurious Kandahar Lodge, two nights on Amtrak there
& back. Cost is about $600.00 per person with a sleeper car on Amtrak
(includes meals on the train) or under $500.00 traveling in Coach on the
train (does not include meals). Discounts are available for seniors, juniors,
and XC skiers. Depart Tuesday evening March 3rd from Edmonds, arriving back on Sunday morning,

full information and pricing package. An initial group deposit of $500.00 is
due by Aug. 31st; Pat is willing to take care of this if there seems to be
enough sincere interest by then. Additional individual deposits of $150.00
will be due by Nov. 28th. Final payment will be due by Jan 2nd.
