Poll: What kind of trail foods do you most prefer?

Just curious what kind of trail foods folks prefer to backpack with. Do you like to use the pre-made specifically for camping freeze dried stuff (Mountain House, Backpackers Pantry, Alpine Aire, clif bars, etc), easy to prepare Grocery store food, (top ramen, mashed potatoes, Knorr chedder broccoli rice, tuna packets, snickers bars, etc), homemade meals (foods you prepared and dehydrated yourself) or do you pack a little of all of these? Just interested to see what others think. Am I missing a category? I personally pack a little of everything but probably less of the specialty stuff and more of the grocery store foods.

I am pretty lazy so most of the time I take Mountain House freeze dried for dinner.

It is almost always instant oatmeal for breakfast. I get tired of it but have not found anything that works as well.

I put a power bar in my pocket before I start hiking each day to snack on. They don't taste great but are tolerable, indestructible and seem to give me some energy.

Mountain House Chilimac with beef. Mmmmm. Makes a great hand warmer too.
